Want to be a BAB Rep? BAB Reps have the ability to organize their own BAB events that we’ll promote, to receive copies of the magazine to distribute, and in general to be the face of Being A Broad in their areas. We know from personal experience how much BAB has helped us in our lives in Japan, so if you would like to help other women in your area as well as greatly expand your own network, you might be interested in being a BAB Rep. Being a BAB Rep can involve as much or as little time and activity as you like!

If you’d like to become a BAB Rep, then please email emily@carolinepover.com and let us know a bit about yourself, why you’d like to apply, what you’d like to do as a BAB Rep, and what being part of the BAB community has meant to you during your time in Japan. Don’t forget to tell us which city or area you’d like to cover; if you are in Tokyo, just let us know which neighbourhood you’d like.

Interested in writing? Being A Broad is always looking for new contributors, both Japanese and foreign, male and female, with an interesting story related to being a foreign woman surviving and thriving in Japan. BAB is a community magazine, and as such we’re committed to providing a forum for women to share their experiences living in Japan, as well as help others find their feet.
