Being A Broad’s Career Seminar Series
From 6.30pm on the last Friday of every month, we get together three foreign women working in a certain industry, and ask them to share their experiences with other foreign women considering a similar career. There’s always plenty of time for questions, so you can feel free to ask everything you want to know about being a foreign woman in that industry. Past seminars have included ‘Being An MBA Broad’, ‘Being An Author Broad’, and ‘Being A Recruiter Broad’. This is an informal event with no dress code, and we move on to Suji’s for drinks, food, more questions, and lots of mingling. This is always a great opportunity for participants to get inspired and informed, and enjoy meeting some new friends too. Entrance fee is just 1000 yen, and the event is being held at the University of California’s Tokyo office near Roppongi & Kamiyacho: http://www.usc.edu/dept/International_Offices/Tokyo/contact.html. Sign up on our mailing list here to be sure to receive announcements about future seminars.
