BAB Event: Alison Lester Presentation & Buffet Dinner
Feeling Unplugged? Uprooted? On Tuesday, September 11th spend an evening in discussion of such topics and many more close to the expatriate heart. Writer, comedian, and communication trainer Alison Jean Lester will be visiting us in Tokyo to talk about her collection of short stories, Locked Out: Stories Far from Home. Alison spent 8 years in Tokyo before moving to Singapore in 1999, and during her time here she worked variously as a financial editor, narrator and freelance writer. She also had her two children here, and performed stand-up and improvised comedy at The Tokyo Comedy Store. Her book was published in Singapore by Monsoon Books.
