I was born and grew up in Tokyo, Japan.
I am an almuna of Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School where not only Japanese who were educated in Japan but also many foreigners from different nationalities who live in Japan or Japanese who have educated abroad study together. Then I went to Faculty of Comparative Culture at Sophia University. I only went there for two years before transferring to the American University in Cairo. I stayed there for three years to get my BA degree in Anthropology. In Cairo, I was in a international community where I enjoyed having friendships from many different people from many different backgrounds. It was a lot of fun and I felt very comfortable surrounded by people who have different backgrounds from me yet they are somehow similar and many things familiar to me. I am wondering if I can do something like that in my home country, Japan. After coming back to Japan after graduation and a few months of working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I find myself not really settling in well in Japan. I do have friends from Kokusai High School days and Sophia days and always hang out with them but there are other interests or other topics that I am interested in and want to pursue with new friends. I like to get to know good people and have a good time.

It will be nice if I can meet up people around Tokyo or Yokohama area.
