Hi, I’m new to Tokyo and to Being A Broad!  Can any forum members recommend a summer camp for my two non-Japanese speaking boys?

I’ve found Nanbo Discovery Camp (http://www.discoverjapan.co.jp) and English Adventure (http://www.english-adventure.org).  Any others that I should know about?  I’d be grateful for any personal experiences or suggestions!

Hi Cherie, and welcome to BAB!

I don’t know about other camps, but I’ve been working as a counselor and teacher for English Adventure for five years. I’m expecting so this will be the first summer that I won’t be at the camps, but I can highly recommend them. As far as I know the Oshima Ocean Camp is sold out but the Chichibu Mountain Camps still have spots. Check out the website and see what you think; I’m on a visit back home right now but if you have any quick questions PM me and I’ll be happy to answer them.

Amy, a belated thank you for your super info!  I also received another positive note about English Adventure from another member by email.  I really appreciate the input, and English Adventure looks like a good choice!
