Hello everyone! I’m MaverickKay but you can just call me Kay! I stumbled on this website by accident (I was trying to see what hair products there were in Japan and found this site on google!), but I’m really glad I did! I’ve read a lot of the forum topics and whatnot, and everyone seems so helpful here, too! I’m really glad I found such a friendly place ![]()
Anyways, in the next two months (September 20th, actually) I will be attending the Kobe College for women (Also known as Kobe Jogakuin Daigaku or 神戸女学院大学 ). I am very excited but I am also very, very nervous! It’ll be my first time out of America, and although I have studied Japanese culture as well as the language for many years, I feel as though I won’t be prepared for when the actual time comes (it’s very unnerving, but I really wouldn’t change it for the world. I’ve wanted to go to Japan for most of my life, so this is a definite dream come true).
I guess to tell more about myself, I’m a 19-year-old (about to go on twenty) female college student. My major is art and my minor is Japanese. Although I will not be able to take any art classes at Kobe, so I’m nervous about that as well. I’m also going with a friend of mine, who also got accepted at Kobe college, along with another exchange student.
I’m really glad that there’s a website such as this. I will more than likely check on this forum frequently- and hopefully I’ll be able to make new friends as well
