I hope members won’t mind this forum being used to pass on thanks to Caroline Pover for a lecture she gave recently at my daughter’s school in England. Caroline turned out to be, for my daughter, one of those rare individuals who can really inspire. At a time of indecision and doubt in her life, Laura saw what can be achieved with effort and self-belief. What’s more, a week or so later, a personal copy of Caroline’s book arrived in the post. Thank you Caroline and I hope you realise how very valuable your gifts have been.
